Terms of service

These terms govern your use of Shop Khaata, a service of Moksh Micrologic Tech Pvt Ltd ("we", "us"), at shopkhaata.com and app.shopkhaata.com. By creating an account or using Shop Khaata, you agree to these terms and to our Privacy policy.

The service

Shop Khaata helps shops, homes and teams record expenses, work out GST and discounts, keep bill photos, and view reports and budgets. It is a record-keeping tool. It is not accounting, tax, legal or financial advice, and it does not file returns for you.

Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract.
• Provide accurate information and keep your password private. You are responsible for activity under your account.
• Tell us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Shops and teams

The owner of a shop decides who can access it and with what role. Anyone you invite can see that shop's records. Invite only people you trust, and only add other people's information if you are allowed to.

Your content

You own the records and photos you add. You give us permission to store, process and display them only as needed to provide and improve the service. You can export your records from the app.

Check your figures

Calculations and suggestions are based on what you enter. Please check your entries and totals before relying on them for payments, tax or business decisions.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse Shop Khaata. For example, do not break the law, try to access accounts or data that are not yours, interfere with or overload the service, upload harmful content, send spam, or copy or resell the service. We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms.

Fees

Shop Khaata is currently free to use. If we introduce paid plans, we will tell you in advance, and you will not be charged unless you choose a paid plan.

Changes and availability

We may change, add or remove features, and the service may sometimes be unavailable. We will try to give reasonable notice of significant changes.

Ending your use

You may stop using Shop Khaata at any time and ask us to close your account. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken or if we stop offering the service.

Disclaimer and liability

Shop Khaata is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential losses, or for loss of profits, data or business, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim.

Indemnity

You agree to cover our reasonable losses arising from your breach of these terms or misuse of the service.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the courts at Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. We will post the new version on this page and change the date above. Continuing to use Shop Khaata means you accept the updated terms.
