Is Shop Khaata free?
Yes, it is free to use. If we ever add paid plans, we will tell you well in advance, and nothing is charged unless you choose a plan.
Does it file my GST returns?
No. It records the GST on what you buy so you and your accountant can see it clearly. Check the figures before you file anything.
Does it record sales or udhaar?
No. Shop Khaata is for what you spend: bills, purchases and running costs. Keep using your sales book or billing software alongside it.
Who can see my shop's bills?
Only people you invite. Admins can add and change entries. Members can view and export them but not change anything.
Is my data safe?
Everything travels encrypted. Passwords are never stored as typed, bill photos are private to your shop, and one shop can never see another's records. We don't show ads or sell data.
Does it work on iPhone or a computer?
Yes. Open it in any up-to-date browser. On Android you can also install it on your home screen.

Can I delete my records?
Yes. A deleted bill can be brought back for 30 days and is then erased for good. To close your login or shop, send us a message.
